Speech-Therapy Diagnosis and Treatment

If there are any concerns about a child's language development, we provide a free screening to determine if an evaluation is needed. During each evaluation, we use a combination of standardized assessments, observation, evaluation of play, and care-giver interview to determine the next step in the child's care.

If therapy services are recommended, we set up a regular schedule for treatment sessions. Each child is treated one-on-one with a licensed therapist. Therapy plans include sensory integration and assistive and alternative communication when appropriate. We also provide Social Skills sessions, during which group speech sessions are available.
